Vicky Angel

June 5, 2010 in 9-12, emotional

Well you can’t get a more emotional book than this.

Poor Vicky, she has a terribly tragic accident but that will never break her special friendship with her best friend and main character Jade.  Vicky is a very strong character, and even death won’t stop her from living her life to the full extent.  Jade is so used to following what Vicky says that even when Vicky is dead she still tries to please her!  But Jade doesn’t always want to do what Vicky says, especially when Vicky is making her lose any other friends she has.  Jade is concentrating on listening to Vicky that her work starts to drop.  This book is a over flowing with emotion, Even I couldn’t stop a tear escaping down my cheek!

You really can’t get enough of Stephenie Meyer, can you?

Well I really was up all night reading this book!  It is a very touching book and you have to sympathize for Bella as she try’s to stay friends with Edward and Jacob at the same time.  Stephen Meyer really fills the book with action and drama.  This book is bursting of twists as the characters change there minds or misunderstand what is happening or already happened.

We recommend this book to teenagers,

(This book is not suitable for young readers.)

Little Darlings

May 5, 2010 in 9-12, emotional, teen

Awesome,

what a amazingly emotional book!  I feel for the characters as they face difficult problems.  I also feel happy for the characters as they have there dreams come true.  Destiny and Sunset have two completely different live but yet are so similar and they both wonder why.  Well with Danny Killman as a farther things couldn’t get any better for  Sunset until she meets Destiny, but are they really sisters or are Destiny and her mum making it up because they want Sunsets and her families money?  This book has lots of different meanings and I think its written EXTREMELY well by a number one author: Jacqueline Wilson!

We recommend this book to 9 – 12 year olds,

(If you are younger and you wish to read this book then you should check with your parent or guardian.)

Please leave a comment about which character you prefer out of Destiny and Sunset and why by simply clicking on the title = Little Darlings.

Aren’t we all?

Well Ellie isn’t – but when you have two boy mad friends who can go out with whoever they want with just a click of their fingers, you can’t really say what might happen.

This book will really touch you as it touched me.

Jacqueline Wilson must really know what it’s like to be in love!

Everybody above fourteen has got a illness, not an ordinary illness, one that has rotted there brain so they can no longer think.  An illness that has driven them crazy, and hungry, but the only thing left to eat is the kids.

H.I.V.E is a brilliant book about a boy called Otto Malpense, he is a teenage criminal mastermind.  He has been chosen to go and study at the top secret school H.I.V.E.  All the students at H.I.V.E have to stay and study for six years, but there is no way Otto is gong to stay and study at the Higher Institute of Villainous Education for that long.  His best option is escape, but how?

Mark Walden has written this book brilliantly – you’ll never be able to tell what will happen next.
