Thank you for your post, I will post a review on one of her books but have already reviewed Goggle eyes. Goggle eyes is a great book and Anne has won two Carnegie Medal in 1990. She was the winner of the Guardian and Children’s Fiction Award in 1990. It doesn’t stop there as she was Short listed for Smarties Award (9 – 11 section) 1990 and they even love her in Germany as Der Neue Diogenes, the German translation of Goggle-Eyes, was shortlisted for German Youth Literature Prize 1993. I love Anne Fine, I enjoy all her books especially Goggle Eyes which has always been my favourite, as I can relate to it myself. I am surprised no one else has said Anne fine as I think she a clever inspirational writer.

I say i have to disigry with gleek because even though she didnt tell the truth sbout her friend it was because there would good friends and she couldnt bear it if her family said no to seeing her so she lied.But the fact that she lied wasnt because she didnt like that she was poor or disiproved of her atol.

I personally don’t have a favourite because one is poor and is scared and I feel sorry for her but she’s not my favourite but then on the other hand the other sunset is rich and she lies pretending that her friend destiny is a rich posh girl instead of sticking up for her so I cant say I personally have a favourite.

This is a very good book. Its full of adveture and meaning. This is my favorite book that I have ever read. I would reccomend this book to ages around 9+.
I would rate it 10/10!

I definitetly agree with you that this book is a smashing 9 1/2 out of ten!
We couldn’t put the book down when we started reading it!

I love the book. When I read it at the end I had mixed emotions
because it was happy and sad but its a fabulous book. I reccomend it to all ages!
if I rated it out of ten I would give it 9 half out of 10
