Goggle eyes

June 28, 2010 in 9-12, emotional, meaningful, news, teen

Goggle eyes, a strange name for a book.  You may not be able to understand why it was called that but to me it is so meaningful and emotional that even I couldn’t stop a tear escaping down my cheek.  To understand the title and what I am talking about you really need to read the book.  We all love Anne Fine’s books and are thrilled to put one of her books on our website.  I hope reading this has inspired you to read Goggle eyes and some of her other fantastic books.

Do you like Anne Fine?

Eclipse

June 4, 2010 in action, romance, teen

You really can’t get enough of Stephenie Meyer, can you?

Well I really was up all night reading this book!  It is a very touching book and you have to sympathize for Bella as she try’s to stay friends with Edward and Jacob at the same time.  Stephen Meyer really fills the book with action and drama.  This book is bursting of twists as the characters change there minds or misunderstand what is happening or already happened.

We recommend this book to teenagers,

(This book is not suitable for young readers.)

Little Darlings

May 5, 2010 in 9-12, emotional, teen

Awesome,

what a amazingly emotional book!  I feel for the characters as they face difficult problems.  I also feel happy for the characters as they have there dreams come true.  Destiny and Sunset have two completely different live but yet are so similar and they both wonder why.  Well with Danny Killman as a farther things couldn’t get any better for  Sunset until she meets Destiny, but are they really sisters or are Destiny and her mum making it up because they want Sunsets and her families money?  This book has lots of different meanings and I think its written EXTREMELY well by a number one author: Jacqueline Wilson!

We recommend this book to 9 – 12 year olds,

(If you are younger and you wish to read this book then you should check with your parent or guardian.)

Please leave a comment about which character you prefer out of Destiny and Sunset and why by simply clicking on the title = Little Darlings.

Aren’t we all?

Well Ellie isn’t – but when you have two boy mad friends who can go out with whoever they want with just a click of their fingers, you can’t really say what might happen.

This book will really touch you as it touched me.

Jacqueline Wilson must really know what it’s like to be in love!

OOHH NOO, the Cullens are going!

Life is tough for Bella when the Cullens move out but she now has a new best friend called Jacob.  Bella starts relying on Jacob but can Jacob stay her friend forever?  If you have read Twilight you will know a scary character called Victoria, well guess what -  she’s back to get her revenge!

We recommend this book to teenagers.

Wow – we all love this book and its fantastic imagination!  Some stories can come to life in your imagination; this book comes to life all by itself.
