Eion Colfer is the Irish 45 year old author of the Artemis Fowl series, but he has also written many other books including one called Half moon investigations. This book is about a young boy called Fletcher Moon; who dreams of being a detective. He solves the crimes in his school, but there is no big cases in his school, there is just the occasional stolen object, like a calculator or book. Suddenly Fletcher is flung in to the world off serious case, will he manage to solve the case, or will he die trying.
