I love Anne Fine, I enjoy all her books especially Goggle Eyes which has always been my favourite, as I can relate to it myself. I am surprised no one else has said Anne fine as I think she a clever inspirational writer.
Thank you for your post, I will post a review on one of her books but have already reviewed Goggle eyes. Goggle eyes is a great book and Anne has won two Carnegie Medal in 1990. She was the winner of the Guardian and Children’s Fiction Award in 1990. It doesn’t stop there as she was Short listed for Smarties Award (9 – 11 section) 1990 and they even love her in Germany as Der Neue Diogenes, the German translation of Goggle-Eyes, was shortlisted for German Youth Literature Prize 1993.
